Divination is a wholly nonBuddhist act of making requests to deities

for information. How believable the information gained from the act

hinges on how hearty the questioner is in the procedure. Resonance

from sincerity and respect is not uncommon. Concentration in spirit and

entrance in meditation result in ready resonance, but, if commitment

and focus wanting, answers begotten from divination are less than

reliable as all things arise from the mind. For whomever unsure and

unable to comprehend otherwise, the wise way to go is stay away from

all acts of begging deities for guidance, soothsaying, or casting of lots.
