Who were the Buddha' s ten great disciples? What were their specialties?

The Buddha' s ten great disciples were Sariputra, Maudgalyayana,

Purna, Subhuti, Katyayana, Mahakasyapa, Aniruddha, Upali, Ananda,

and Rahula.

Their specialties were as follows: Sariputra of wisdom, Maudgalyayana

of supernatural powers, Purna of expounding the Dharma, Subhuti of

explaining void or the immaterial, Katyayana of delivering the

fundamental principles, Mahakasyapa of the dhuta or ascetic practice,

Aniruddha of deva vision, Upali of maintaining the discipline, Ananda of

hearing and remembering, and Rahula of the esoteric practice.
